Breve introduzione:

Ciascun soggetto è caratterizzato da quattro segni: il segno solare, che dipende dal mese in cui nasciamo, il segno lunare che è quello dove si trovava la Luna al momento della nostra nascita, il segno Ascendente che è quello che si alzava in cielo, ad est del luogo di nascita, al momento del nostro primo vagito e il segno più importante di tutti, che abbiamo chiamato “intercettato” e che corrisponde al segno in rapporto alla Casa occupata dal Sole al momento dell’evento. E come facciamo a capire se un segno è basic o compensato? È semplicissimo. Facciamo l’esempio del Leone: se appena lo incontriamo egli ci stringe forte la mano e ci guarda negli occhi, è “basic”. Se, invece, ci offre una mano “molle e sudaticcia” e abbassa lo sguardo, allora si tratta di un “Leone-pecora”. E così per tutti gli altri segni.

Il riferimento stagionale, nell’area mediterranea che è quella dove è nata l’astrologia che studiamo in occidente, è la calura estiva, il caldo agostano, inesorabile e persistente, il fuoco di ferragosto che tutto divora, ma silenziosamente, senza sbalzi, senza picchi. Il fuoco di questi trenta gradi è assai diverso da quello dell’Ariete, generato dalla scintilla, il primo fuoco: quello di cui ci stiamo occupando non ha caratteristiche dinamiche e di passaggio di stato, ma fisse, persistenti, continue nonché inesorabili nella forza. Si tratta di una combustione che sa di poter contare su di una riserva energetica praticamente senza fine, un fuoco che potremmo definire “senza complessi”, che può permettersi di essere estremamente generoso in quanto consapevole della propria inesauribile fonte. Allo stesso modo il Leone uomo (o donna) può permettersi di essere il più generoso tra gli esseri umani: egli può dare moltissimo perché ha tanto. Ma la sua generosità non è del tipo ad indirizzo infermieristico e crocerossino, bensì effigiata da un semplice paternalismo di fondo. Il Leone è disposto a concedere, un po’ come un sovrano, a patto che ci si rivolga a lui esattamente come si farebbe con un monarca, evitando ogni possibile occasione di lesa maestà e soprattutto riconoscendo in lui, senz’alcuna riserva, la massima autorità. A queste condizioni egli è disposto a farsi carico dei suoi “sudditi”, ma senza impegnarsi personalmente, bensì staccando qualche assegno o dando disposizione ad altri “sudditi” di portare a termine l’incarico. Il nostro, nella quasi totalità dei casi, è un essere fiero, orgoglioso, regale nel portamento, autenticamente signorile ed elegante in maniera naturale, praticamente senza complessi. Gode quasi sempre di buona salute ed anche questa è una spia del suo essere sano mentalmente. Ha bisogno, però, di essere un centro, di stare al centro dei riflettori, di rappresentare il sole intorno a cui devono girare tutti i pianeti. In funzione di ciò è un leader nato e succede, per lui, qualcosa che ha quasi un carattere magico: egli ascende al comando, si avvia ad essere leader in ogni situazione, a guidare ogni gruppo, in maniera naturale, senza forzature, con la complicità di tutti che si fanno naturalmente da parte per lasciarlo passare. Generalmente sono tre i segni che ascendono alle massime posizioni in ogni gerarchia: i Leoni, i Sagittari ed i Capricorni. I primi raggiungono il potere senza neanche porsi domande, essendo del tutto convinti che lo stesso spetti loro per default. I Sagittari, generalmente, sono degli arrampicatori sociali che sfruttano il proprio potere imitativo ed il proprio adattamento alle mode per saltare qualche posizione. I Capricorni, infine, si arrampicano anche sugli specchi, con le unghie e con i denti, pur di raggiungere il potere, per i profondi complessi che li caratterizzano, come vedremo più avanti. Un’altra caratteristica del segno in oggetto è data dal fatto che i suoi rappresentanti, molte volte, parlano piano e senza affaticarsi a spiegare in quanto sono convinti che devono essere i loro interlocutori a sforzarsi di capire, a tendere l’orecchio. Inoltre, nella maggior parte dei casi, prestano scarsa attenzione a quanto dicono gli avversari in una discussione accesa perché pensano che sia importante solo quanto vanno dicendo loro. In positivo bisogna osservare, però, che possiedono la maggiore ampiezza di vedute possibile: difficilmente troverete un Leone meschino, alla ricerca dei cosiddetti “mezzucci da cameriere” per ottenere un piccolo vantaggio, dalla visione ravvicinata, incapace di guardare più in là del proprio ombelico. Nella maggior parte dei casi il Leone guarda alla sostanza di un problema, rinunciando a priori alle micro-contingenze quotidiane ed a tutti quegli atteggiamenti di tipo paranoico che possono caratterizzare ciascun segno dello zodiaco. Nello spendere il nostro è portato alle esagerazioni, alla grandeur, allo sfarzo, al lusso: tenderà a scegliere l’albergo a cinque stelle, la first class in aereo, la valigeria prestigiosa, l’orologio di Cartier, i regali piccolissimi e costosissimi per i propri amici e per i propri cari. Sarà assai attratto dall’oro. Le donne del segno, generalmente, hanno una folta capigliatura lunga e fluente, leggermente ondulata. Nel lavoro, come già detto, il Leone si distingue soprattutto nei posti di comando e lo troviamo spesso nella stanza dei bottoni, dalle gerarchie militari, alla regia di un film o teatrale, oppure come dirigente industriale, manager finanziario, imprenditore commerciale, direttore di hotel, gestore di ristorante, eccetera. Non avvilisce mai il rapporto con dispetti e piccoli rancori come fanno solitamente tutti gli altri segni. Cerca un partner prestigioso ed è vulnerabile al fascino di una macchina di lusso, dei ristoranti e degli alberghi a cinque stelle, dei regali costosissimi... I suoi segni di destino sono lo Scorpione, il Toro, l’Aquario e il Leone stesso. Da un punto di vista stagionale (il riferimento è sempre l’area mediterranea, la Mesopotamia, perché è qui che è nata la nostra astrologia) si situa in quel periodo in cui la vegetazione conquista la parte alta degli alberi e simbolizza la conquista dell’elemento aria. Per comprendere bene tale dodicesimo zodiacale bisogna necessariamente fare riferimento a Mercurio, il suo governatore. Mercurio era il dio, tra gli dei dell’Olimpo, messaggero, dai piedi alati, e rappresenta, a monte di tutto, il principio di comunicazione. La parola chiave per comprendere questo segno è “movimento”, in senso lato: i Gemelli hanno un bisogno asmatico di muoversi, o fisicamente o mentalmente. “Adorano viaggiare o spostarsi semplicemente in macchina, a piedi, in bicicletta. Il lato più negativo, come già detto, è la superficialità: chi ha forti valori Vergine ed ha a che fare con un Gemelli, soprattutto sul lavoro, potrebbe essere colpito da cirrosi epatica per l’eccesso di rabbia cui va incontro... È perfettamente inutile lasciargli messaggi accorati appuntati alle pareti o nella segreteria telefonica: il nostro li avrà già dimenticati nell’attimo stesso che li avrà recepiti. All’opposto notiamo che egli ha una intelligenza straordinaria, intesa come capacità e velocità di elaborazione delle informazioni, come scambio elettrico input/output... È bravissimo a risolvere puzzle, parole crociate, rebus e – solitamente – ha uno straordinario senso dell’osservazione. Inoltre si mantiene giovanissimo, sia mentalmente che fisicamente ed il presentatore televisivo tipico di ogni nazione potrebbe essere l’esempio più limpido di tale realtà. Il lavoro fatto su misura per i rappresentanti del terzo segno zodiacale è il commercio: i nostri sono dei venditori nati. Esso richiama il concetto della maternità, della prima acqua (quella del feto), del mitologema della Grande Madre: protezione, bisogno di affetto e di sicurezza, nostalgia per la condizione prenatale intesa come massima icona di salvezza da ogni pericolo. Il Cancro, insieme ai Pesci e ad una parte del segno del Toro, è certamente il segno più emotivo e sensibile dello zodiaco. I genitori di oggi che volessero un figlio appartenente a detti trenta gradi zodiacali, dovrebbero essere ben consapevoli del rischio che corrono: il nostro, appena nasce (ma poi le cose non cambiano tantissimo), è un esserino fragile, delicato, super-emotivo, meteoropatico, una vera e propria spugna emotiva ed una corda di violino. Un altro personaggio, del cinema, questa volta, ci aiuta a comprendere bene l’essenza del segno del Cancro: il vecchio professore nello stupendo Il posto delle fragole, di Ingmar Bergman. Il posto delle fragole era dove si recava, d’estate, in una casa di campagna in Svezia, il giovane protagonista della pellicola che però, un giorno, non visto, assiste alla scena di un semi-innocente tradimento della sua fidanzatina: in quel momento crollerà il castello delle sue illusioni ed egli diventerà un “Cancro compensato”, ma di questo scriveremo tra poco. In virtù di quel collegamento ideale con l’utero materno, il Cancro adora la casa, sia che abbia il Sole nei trenta gradi in oggetto e sia che l’appartenenza a tale dodicesimo zodiacale gli provenga dall’avere il Sole nella quarta Casa. La sua libido viaggia soprattutto lì: ama starsene in casa, spesso a letto a leggere o a vedere la televisione, e – se proprio deve recarsi a lavorare altrove – cerca anche lì di ricavarsi una seconda “tana”, magari facendosi erigere un box di legno all’interno di una stanza. La casa, la madre, la famiglia in senso lato, sono tutti significatori di sicurezza, protezione, stabilità, continuità nella vita. La Luna nella prima Casa, quanto più quest’ultima è vicina all’Ascendente, più significa volubilità, capriccio, infantilismo, meteoropatia, dipendenza psicologica dagli altri, alti e bassi continui sia nel carattere che nelle azioni, difficoltà a tagliare il cordone ombelicale, passività, tendenza a lasciarsi convincere dagli altri, incapacità a dire di no, romanticismo, sogno, immaginazione, fantasia, poesia.

Giove nella prima Casa, solitamente dà una mole massiccia ed un peso eccessivo. È fattore di ottimismo o di esagerato ottimismo, di candore, di ingenuità, di mancanza di senso critico, di abbassamento delle difese personali, di assenza di diffidenza, di esposizione ai raggiri di ogni genere. Ma è anche segno di successo professionale nei rispettivi campi di lavoro e di protezione generica da parte del destino.

La Luna nella seconda Casa significa, spesso, dipendenza economica dagli altri oppure continui alti e bassi nella situazione finanziaria del soggetto. Interessi imprenditoriali che vanno e vengono ciclicamente. Fragilità emotiva nelle questioni d’interesse. Interessi mutevoli anche nei confronti del cibo o dell’immagine.

Venere nella seconda Casa può indicare possibili guadagni che arrivano dalla moda oppure dall’arte o dall’estetica in generale (questo vale soprattutto per parrucchieri, visagiste, massaggiatori, estetiste, ecc.). In genere è un buon indicatore di guadagni e di fortuna commerciale, anche più di Giove nella stessa Casa. Inoltre, la suddetta posizione astrale, può anche essere in rapporto a guadagni legati alla persona amata (un impiego ottenuto a mezzo del partner...).

Giove nella seconda Casa corrisponde a quelle persone che hanno uno scarso senso critico verso il denaro e per questo, spessissimo, ne riescono a guadagnare parecchio. Il Sole in quarta Casa vuol dire essere fortemente Cancro ed amare tantissimo la casa, il proprio guscio, il proprio spazio vitale e la propria patria. Ciò si può esternare facendo l’architetto, per esempio, l’arredatore, il costruttore edile, ma anche il muratore o l’agente immobiliare oppure il possidente immobiliare o il ginecologo (utero è l’utero e utero è anche la casa). Marte nella sesta Casa corrisponde, quasi sempre, a diverse operazioni nel corso della vita, oppure aborti, ferite, ferimenti, incidenti. Tensioni e liti con collaboratori, colleghi e superiori nel lavoro. Davvero una cattiva posizione sia per la salute che per il lavoro.
